Implementation context
The evolution of the pharmaceutical industry requires these organizations to provide critical laboratory results to chemists as soon as possible. Given the context of BMS this process was not at that pace since it was developed on paper and consisted of a logistical nightmare for handling requests and managing results, as well as for the more than 500 requests they handled per day. Actually, the time involved was too much.
Solution benefits
Due to conditions and requirements, time was optimized, errors eliminated, and performance metrics improved. The analytic process equivalent to 5 FTE was digitized; reduced the error rate due to missing information and provided a better visualization of process performance metrics.
Thus BMS develops, in conjunction with Bonitasoft, a solution that provides agility and flexibility for drug research and production operations. Thanks to the solutions implemented, more than 11,000 hours per year were saved by research scientists, 50% of the delivery time; greater transparency in processes, live metrics visualization, among others.
