Biometrics for contracting banking products
Our client in the banking sector improved their biometric automation management for product procurement by fingerprinting.
Solution benefits
Biometric authentication of the user was performed using fingerprint capture.
The capture can be made from fixed terminals (located in the Bank’s offices) or Wifi terminals (associated with commercial advisors moving throughout the national territory). The validation of the footprints is done by comparing the prints captured with those stored by the National Registry of the Civil State.
In case of successful biometric authentication, the necessary documents for the contracting of product(s) in the bank, by digital signature, are signed using service implemented by Certicámara.
If the signature of documents is successful, the documents signed in the Bank’s Document Manager are stored
Developed requirements
- Integration with services previously developed and installed by the Bank
- Process design taking into account the bank’s need for modularity and high parameterization, in order to facilitate the reuse of this biometric authentication functionality in multiple processes.
- Design of the back and front taking into account the demands of the National Registry of the Civil State, in terms of information security and ease of interaction for the user
- Developing a rest service that orchestrates about 10 services required for the document signing and storage process (download, sign, and store in GD)
